Cookie policy
This site sets no cookies of its own. Below is everything it can leave in your browser, with what each item is for and how long it stays. The visitor count is listed too, although it leaves nothing. We checked the list against the live site on 24 Sep 2026.

| Name | Set by | What it is for | How long it stays | Needs your consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| wmb-units | watermateboats.com | Remembers whether you chose metric or imperial units. | Until you clear your browser data | No. Written only when you use the unit switch. |
| wmb-hull | watermateboats.com | Remembers whether you chose aluminium or HDPE on a model page. | Until you clear your browser data | No. Written only when you use the material switch. |
These two are not cookies. They are entries in your browser's own storage, written only when you use a switch, and they never leave your device. The law does not require consent for a setting you chose yourself.
Set by Cloudflare, our host
| Name | Set by | What it is for | How long it stays | Needs your consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Web Analytics | Cloudflare, on every page | Counts page views and measures how quickly each page loads. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. It cannot tell whether you have visited before. | Nothing is stored | No. Nothing is stored on your device. |
| Turnstile | Cloudflare, on the quote page only | Checks that a person, and not a program, is sending the form. Cloudflare says Turnstile sets strictly necessary cookies only and does not read what you type. | Short-lived | No. Security. |
| __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Set only if Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor is not a bot. Not used for tracking. | Up to 30 minutes | No. Security. |
What the visitor count records, and what Turnstile reads, are both set out on our privacy page.
Set by Google, only if you press play

| YouTube | Google Ireland Limited | The films on the model pages use the privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com. Nothing loads from Google until you press play. After that Google may set its own cookies and storage. | Set by Google. Listed on its cookie page. | Pressing play is your consent. Do not press it if you would rather not. |
What is not here
There is no advertising pixel on this site. The social links are plain links that report nothing back. The fonts are served from our own address, so no request goes to a font service.
Anything we add later that needs your consent will ask for it before it loads, and this page will list it.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and both saved preferences are gone. Google's cookies are cleared in the same place. The quote form cannot be sent without the anti-bot check, so if you would rather avoid it, email us instead. The address is on the contact page.
